Издатель THQ Nordic в своем отчете рассказал, что компания Volition занимается разработкой новой Saints Row.
В отличие от спин-оффа в виде Agents of Mayhem, это будет полноценная часть серии Saints Row, которая скорее всего получит цифру 5 — на данный момент игра находится на серьезной стадии разработки.
Издатель не сообщил ни дату релиза, ни список платформ, на которых расположится игра: ни-че-го. Также совершенно неясно, какой будет сюжет у новой части.
Мир будет еще огромнее и движок будет абсолютно другой. Но как сообщила студия Volition сама графика не будет сильно отличаться от прошлой части, но будет все проработано до мельчайших деталей, не будет различных углов в текстурах, где их не должно быть и т. п.
Эффекты от сверхспособностей никого не оставят равнодушным. За игрой геймерам покажется, как будто они на просмотре крупного Голливудского фильма с дорогими спецэффектами.
Одна из главных фишек игры останется навсегда это юмор. Без него никуда, и мы будет работать очень тщательно над этим, так как считаем это хорошей связкой со всем остальным в Saints Row 5.
Управление оружием и транспортом будет как минимум немного изменено, но без всякого фанатизма, это все таки экшен.
И последняя новость это новый динамичный сюжет Saints Row 5. Многие жаловались именно на сюжет и мы ценим критику со стороны фанатов, говорят Volition. Поэтому мы попытаемся сделать все возможное, чтобы сюжет пятой части был как минимум замечательным и затягивающим, а еще лучше одним из самых запоминающихся среди игр такого рода.
В общем Saints Row V заставит вас не просто прыгать со здания на здания и стрелять из крутых пушек, но и с восторгом удивляться развитию сюжета и падать под стол от смеха.
Do you ever try to envision what the future of video games is? It is definitely going to be more realistic, more interactive and more picturesque. Who is going to be the leader of the new era of games is a question difficult to answer.
Nevertheless, one of the genres which is not going to die is definitely shooters in the open world. So, there is a very high likelihood that Saints Row 6 PS4 may well appear.
Saints Row 6 Future
If you can track down the sequence of Saints Row releases, you can see that each new part is released in two years at average. Now that Saints Row 5 is expected to come in 2017, we can assume that the sixth part may arrive in 2019 or 2020.
Saints Row Might Not Get So Far
The game series is not so popular as any other GTA-clone, though has it’s own very special atmosphere. There is still no 5th part of the game, so the faith of the sixth istallment is depends largerly on the popularity of the next game. We could say that Saints Row comes too far in it’s insanity – aliens, mutants, mayhem – things players might really tired of. If it continues, the faith of game series might be fatal.
The future of Saints Row series is rather dubious. On the one hand, we have crazy and unpredictable story from the last part.
On the other hand, there are trustworthy promises that the following game of the series will return to its initial seriousness. It means that Saints Row 6 is totally dependable on the fifth part. If the storyline really returns to its basis, we can get a good plot instead of trash ideas about demons.
According to its well established tradition Saints Row series is developed for all the major consoles such as PlayStation, Xbox and PC. So there are no reasons to change this tradition in future. Perhaps its system requirements will not be too high for the consoles of the future.
Back to Reality
There are rumors that new era of Saints Row is going to take first perspective view. This will entail more details and more picturesque scenery inevitable. Will multiplayer change? It depends on the fifth part. If there will not be the same bugs as Saints Row 4 had, it may need no serious modifications. What is more, developers tend to get closer to reality making every move of yours influential. Thus the game will totally depend on your choice.
Beginning of a new series may have serious influence on Saints Row 6 gameplay. Introduction of first person view may result in new physics and use of technologies. What is more, weapons may get upgrade opportunities which will be dependable on your character skills. No doubt new characters will develop new abilities, however their use may present new aspects of the game as well.
Saints Row 6 Characters
There are predictions that the fifth part may be a final part of the storyline and Saints Row 6 will take a new ply. It is rather reasonable. So we can inevitably expect new faces to appear. However, it will be boring to play without possibility to see some old friends.
