Отметим, что в августе 2016 года компания отчитывалась о 15 миллионах игроков, а в октябре был преодолен рубеж в 20 миллионов. При этом через неделю после релиза игры, было продано более 7 миллионов копий.
Напомним, Blizzard Entertainment выпустила игру Overwatch для игровых приставок PlayStation 4 от Sony и Xbox One от Microsoft, а также на PC, 24 мая 2016 года. Overwatch представляет собой многопользовательский командный шутер, где можно выбрать героя из множества персонажей новой вселенной Blizzard.

За два года было добавлено 2050 новых предметов, шесть героев, 15 карт, четыре режима и шесть сезонных ивента. Общее количество нанесенного урона превысило 38 триллионов единиц, в то время как единиц исцеления насчитывается свыше 17 триллионов.
В мае прошлого года было заявлено, что игра уже принесла компании более одного миллиарда долларов.

The game is a action team-based shooter set on earth in a near-future scenario. Every match is an packed 6v6 battle between a cast of unique heroes with special traits.
